Character and creature ideations are my specialty, and my favourite brand of flavour revolves around the dark fantasy theme with sprinkles of whimsy. I like being challenged to design characters and creatures that introduce unexpected contrasts, and have a story to tell even in the shape language or movement-- I believe that this helps give designs a freshness and also a soul, even if most of the initial complexity in thought boils down to some lines and colour (or lack thereof) on paper or screen.

I also believe that it takes a level of care to have that sensitivity to who these make-belief characters or creatures are before designing them, and that same care is needed in the people and the teams on projects to make it worth (for anyone, who also cares) truly investing mentally in. Magic then happens!
